The campaign will need to raise more than RM40,000 to meet this objective. TOP has selected new 20 charity homes this year in effort to reach more children in receiving new uniforms. It said the contribution will be utilised to purchase school uniforms for 400 school-going underprivileged children aged between 7 to 17, from 20 charity homes across 7 states. T he fund-raising drive will see 30 sen contributed to the fund from the sales of any TOP products from all AEON Big outlets nationwide from Nov 14 to Dec 14, 2016. It said the campaign also teaches life-skills as it encourages children to take responsibility for their uniforms by providing TOP detergent to wash their clothes. "The campaign is set to create a brighter future for school-going underprivileged children by giving their self-confidence and self-esteem a boost with a brand new school uniform set," it added in a statement. Themed 'A Brighter Future with TOP,' the campaign returns for the second year after overwhelming support from TOP consumers last year, said its manufacturer, Southern Lion Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Lam Soon M Bhd and Lion Corporation, Japan.
